Customer Quality Engineer


  • University degree (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Transports, Electronics) or relevant professional experience;
  • Preferably experience as Customer Quality Engineer, ideally within automotive area;
  • Knowledge of quality methods, such as: 8D, FMEA, PPAP, ISO 9001, ISO TS 16949, SPC, MSA, APQP;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Auditing method;
  • Knowledge of QM system;
  • Advanced English;
  • Ability to work in a team and to communicate;


  • Represents the best interests of the plant in front of the costumer;
  • Supports and follows up implementation of customer requirements; Makes trainings in order to assure that the customer specific requirements are known and respected by all employees;
  • Leads the 8 D analize in case of customer complaints, implements immediat containment actions, implements proper corrective actions together with 8D team, follows up the actions, submits 8D information to the customer specific tool;
  • Has the autority to stop the production line in case of nonconformity found;
  • Organizes, if the case, sorting activity internal or at customer site;
  • Assures support for PPAP folder preparation, participate to FMEA meetings;
  • Provide coaching to other plant employees, junior to her/his function;
  • Performs the training for line operators about product quality containment, quality criteria and checking method.
